Cooking with Coley: Chocolate Banoffee Treats.

Hi there guys,

So my mum showed me a video on Facebook, and it was the Chocolate Banoffee Biscuit Balls by Tasty Meals, and said how much she'd love them, on Saturday my mum was working a 13 hour shift so I made them to surprise her when she got home and I thought I'd share this easy and delicious recipe with you guys.

Plus I had chocolate and caramel left over so I made some Chocolate Banoffee Slices.

Ingredients;
One pack of plain biscuits
300g of baking milk chocolate
1 and a half banana
5 tbsp of caramel/toffee

Let's get started (Rosanna Pansino -love her!)

I put about 10 biscuits in my blender - it took bloodly ages to get them all blended, so I followed what tasty meals done and put the rest them in a food bag and smashed them with a rolling pin. I then put the smashed biscuits in the blender for a fair few seconds.

With a medium/large mixing bowl, pour your biscuits in and to it add, 1 and a half banana (I mashed it in with a fork) and 3 tbsp of caramel or toffee. Then mix together with a spoon of your choice, I used a knife as it's easier to get the mixture off it.

Take a big pinch of the mixture and roll into a ball, I liked the more "rustic" look as you can see.
Put in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes, I rolled quite big balls, cause my family doesn't do small when it comes to chocolate, so I left mine in for about 30 minutes.

Melt the 300g of chocolate, I used the stove, but you could use the microwave if you prefer.

Dip and roll your banoffee balls in the melted chocolate until completely covered, then put in the fridge to chill, 10ish minutes I would say it took for mine.

Once your banoffee balls are firm, melt 2 tbsp of caramel or toffee, this only takes a couple seconds in the microwave.

With a teaspoon drizzle the caramel or toffee on the each ball.

And you're done!

If like me, you have toffee and chocolate left over, dip some fruit in both and put in fridge to chill.

I used the rest of the bananas, so as you can see I just sliced them, dipped them in the chocolate and drizzled the caramel on top. then put them in the fridge with the chocolate banoffee biscuit balls.

There you have it, two really easy and really tasty Chocolate Banoffee recipes.
