Cooking with Coley - Pancakes

Pancake Day

So Pancake Day or Shrove Tuesday just happened, I woke up and told myself to be healthy today and have a protein pancakes instead of the real scrumptious things.

Today was my first attempt at making these and the end product doesn't look all that nice -but they tasted good.

1 Large Banana
2 Large Eggs
1 Tsp of unsalted butter (for frying pan)

Mash up the banana with a fork

Take out all your anger to this cause it has to be well mashed

Add the eggs and mix them to get this consistency

Turn one of your hobs onto its highest heat and add a tsp of butter to your frying pan

And just pour in however much of the mixture you want

Looking pretty good!

...not so good...

Second attempt...

...even worse -golden syrup made it taste better though.

This made 2 pancakes!

After eating those two...-masterpieces, I wanted actual pancakes...so much for being healthy!

113g of Plain Flour
300ml of Milk
1 Large Egg
Pinch of Salt
1 Tsp of Melted Butter

(plus butter for the frying pan)

Add of the ingredients to a large mixing bowl, and whisk well, add milk slowly.

Then leave it to settle for 15 minutes (or 10 in the fridge)

And a tsp of butter-
then start frying!

So Delicious!!

This made 6 pancakes!

Bring on Lent! I am giving up *drum-roll please* chocolate until Easter Sunday, it's gonna be tough but I think I can do it..right!?

Love Coley xx
