My Go To: Christmas Party Make Up Look

My Go To: Winter/Christmas Party Make Up Look

STEP ONE - Ready your face, by applying moisturiser and then apply primer -AFTER your moisturiser has sunk in (about 5 minutes)- over the parts of your face where your pores appear the largest, as you want it to last all night

After Step One (Me Without Make-up -apologise for any nightmares)
STEP TWO - Apply foundation all over your face -medium to high coverage, as you want it to even out your skin tone, I used Real Techniques Stippling brush to apply my foundation

After Step Two
STEP THREE - Eye Shadow
(I) Apply eye primer
(II) Apply Day (a white/beige) all over your lid and brow bone
(III) Apply Honey Pot (shimmery gold) from half way to inner eyelid
(IV) Apply Cocoa Puff (dark brown, very little shimmer) to outer V of your eyelid
(V) Apply Conker (very dark and very shimmery brown) as a blending colour

STEP FOUR - Eye Liner
(I)Apply Venus (beige) eye liner to your water line, to brighten up your eyes
(II) Apply crave (black) to the outer half of your tight line to make your lashes appear thicker
(Optional) You can apply eye liner to your lash line, if you think your eyes need it

STEP FIVE - Apply mascara - I applied two coats, wait until first coat is dry before apply the second

After My Eye Make-up is Complete

STEP SIX - Conceal under eyes, and any spots or uneven skin tone

STEP SEVEN - Powder your face (only if you want your face to appear matte) I used Real Techniques powder brush to apply my powder

STEP EIGHT - Contour
(I) Your cheek bones - from ear (tragus) to outer lip
(II) Your jaw -trace your entire jaw to add definition between neck and face
(III) Bronzed look - trance the circumference of your face to add a sun-kissed look (also makes it look more natural)

STEP NINE - Highlight, just below your eye socket and circle up to your brow bone (for additional highlight - bridge of nose, cupid's bow and a touch on your chin - I didn't for this look)

STEP TEN - Apply a bush to the apples of your cheeks, to add a pink flush to face
After Step Ten

STEP ELEVEN - Apply red lipstick (an alternative colour - purple)

FINISHED!
(Optional) STEP TWELVE - Fill in your brows - I got mines tinted a few days before, so I didn't do this step
